High school classes for women
Women In Charge is an adult education program that provides high school classes for women looking to earn their high school equivalency (HiSET) formerly known as GED. The program provides classes in Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics. Classes such as Math are one-on-one to facilitate learning Algebra and Geometry, two common stumbling blocks to success. Women in Charge also provides individualized tutoring in a nurturing supportive environment, stress management and career planning. No prerequisite skills required. Free childcare is offered on site. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The address is 6930 Olive Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63130, right next to the University City Schnucks. ESL classes for men and women
Women In Charge also provides free English language classes for immigrants and refugees in our community. Classes are scheduled based upon volunteer and student availability.
