Knowing their children are in a safe environment while at Women In Charge is a tremendous comfort to women. Located on site, the preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment for participant’s children ages one to five years old. Space is limited. Potential participants who are interested in using the childcare program may want to call ahead to find out if there are spots open currently.
The director of the program develops educational and social learning opportunities for the children.
Throughout the day, the children socialize with other children, play games, learn art/music activities. The children get to have a routine that makes them feel safe and loved. The curriculum is differentiated by each child’s individual needs to prepare them for kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks and lunches are provided free of charge. We all enjoy being a part of their lives and seeing the children grow and learn.
