With a background in managing volunteer programs and community engagement at organizations like Adler Planetarium and PAWS Chicago, Grace brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership and program development to her role. Grace’s leadership ensures that Women in Charge continues to provide a nurturing environment and impactful programs for the women and men it serves.

Mary King

Mary King is the Director of the HiSET Program at Women in Charge. Previously, she taught all core subjects for 30 years, 29 of them for the Special School District of St. Louis County. Mary is a dedicated educator with a long history of fostering success for students of all ages. She combines her extensive experience with genuine compassion and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively support and connect with her students. Mary’s impact on the organization is significant; she is known for her willingness to consistently go the extra mile to make sure that students and volunteers feel supported and valued.

Yael Sabah

Yael Sabah is the ESL Program Coordinator at Women In Charge. Yael’s background in business and educational outreach demonstrate her excellent communication skills, experience working with volunteers, and ability to manage programs effectively. Her professional experience includes roles in program development and client support. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Yael is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment and supporting our students’ goals.
